Dice Vision
A downloadable game for Windows and Android
Dice Vision is a tiny dice-tactics diorama — a roguelike where your party is a handful of physical dice on a 3D board, and every fight is a math puzzle you can see coming.
Pick a party, climb a branching map, and survive two acts of battles, shops, and strange events. Enemies telegraph their next move. Your dice roll, collide, and trade blows using a simple division rule that hides surprising depth.
How combat works
When two dice fight, compare the face on top of each die:
- If one value divides the other, the attacker grows and the defender takes damage.
- If they don’t divide, both shrink — and the weaker side can die on the spot.
Each die has six independent face values. Rolling changes which face is exposed, so positioning and movement matter as much as raw numbers. Abilities live on specific faces and only fire when that face is on top.
Read the board. Plan the roll. Strike when the math is in your favor.
The run
- Branching map — choose your path through battles, merchants, treasure, and risky unknown events.
- Two acts — meadow and crystal cavern, each ending in a boss fight.
- Growing party — dice earn XP and level up; fallen dice lose strength and can die permanently.
- Build your dice — assign abilities to faces, buy upgrades at shops, and shape your party between fights.
